Ill Shoes
A collaboration of James Powderly and Megan Phalines, Ill Shoes display a sequenced light show on your feet.
The visual effect is created by embedded electro-luminescent wire and sequenced based on sensors encased in the sole of the shoe.
One shoe reacts to the intensity and duration of the dancing itself. The other shoe reacts to network traffic data received via
RF from an MP3 server. Exhibited at the ITP Fall Show, 2002, NYC.
