RAT Science Team -- The R.A.T. Science Team is responsible for pre-flight qualification, testing and mission operations of the Rock Abrasion Tool, which is currently in use on the planet Mars as part of the science payload of the Mars Exploration Rover. Rock Abrasion Tool, 2003 -- The Rock Abrasion Tools (RAT) are two twin flight robots that are part of the Science Payload of the Mars Exploration Rover.
